Holiday Accommodation with Fishing

Walcot Hall is an ideal get away, providing self catering holiday accommodation , with fishing, horse riding, stunning gardens, unlimited walks and much much more.  Call us on 01588 680 570 for more information.

To the rear of Walcot Hall, within the Arboretum, are 2 fishing pools. Guests staying within theholiday accommodation may fish here with our compliments or other anglers may wish to arrange a day’s fishing by calling in advance. The cost is £3.50 per rod per day and these run from dawn until dusk.

The Walcot Hall caravan and campsite, situated at the rear of the Powis Arms pub, is alternative holiday accommodation for your fishing experience.

Horse Riding Holidays

Within the Walcot Estate there is a privately run stables. Stuart Murray and his team offer lessons for all ages and experiences or rides ranging from one to three hours. Whether you are looking to learn basic horsemanship, improve your riding technique or simply enjoy exploring the surrounding countryside on horseback,Walcot Hall is the ideal location for horse riding holidays in the UK.Why not incorporate some horse riding within your Walcot holiday experience?

The stables has an all weather surface for guests to have tuition and build riding confidence, or small group rides can be arranged within the Walcot Estate. The more experienced rider can venture out onto bridleways of Shropshire and enjoy this area of outstanding natural beauty to the full.
