Regents Opera brings social scandal to Walcot Hall with Verdi’s La Traviata on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd July. The story of a courtesan Violetta and her live-in lover Alfredo, whom she is forced to abandon so his family’s reputation is not tarnished.
Originally set in 1700 due to censorship we will present this tale in the 1930’s. Sex, Scandal, Celebrity…
