The Styche is located on the west of the Main Hall on the second floor, this apartment has three large family bedrooms and one small double that sleep up to 14 guests. Styche is a spacious, light-filled family nest beneath the eaves.

With cosy corners, expansive communal spaces, and a warm, historic charm, Styche is the ideal holiday home for 14 people seeking comfort, privacy, and a memorable stay in Shropshire.
Styche features three large family rooms — Rebecca, Richard, and Lawrence — each thoughtfully furnished with a double bed, two single beds, and an in-room wash basin. A fourth bedroom, William, offers a snug double bed for quiet, private retreats. This combination makes Styche a perfect holiday house for 14 people, offering both shared space and individual privacy for families and friends.
The heart of Styche is its generous kitchen and living area. A wood-burning stove adds warmth and character, creating the perfect spot for long breakfasts, evening dinners, or relaxed conversations. Parapet-framed windows provide stunning views across the lake, letting guests enjoy tranquil moments of reflection or soak in the Shropshire landscape.
Styche includes two bathrooms — one with a bath, basin, and WC, and another with a bath and overhead shower — plus a second WC and basin. These thoughtfully appointed facilities ensure that everyone in your group can refresh comfortably after a day of exploring.
Connected via a central corridor to the Arni and Montfort apartments, Styche offers a gentle communal layout. You may meet fellow guests in the hallway, but every bedroom has its own lockable door, combining privacy and peace with a warm, social atmosphere — much like a boutique hotel within a historic home.
Styche can be booked independently as a holiday home for 14 people, or combined with the neighbouring Arni and Montfort apartments to accommodate up to 24 guests. Whether you’re hosting a family reunion, a group retreat, or a celebratory gathering, Styche offers adaptable space for connection, relaxation, and shared memories.

Situated on the second floor of Walcot Hall, Montfort has two double bedrooms; Margaretta and George, and one twin room called Elizabeth. All of the rooms are filled with the history of the Hall.
Tucked away in a quiet corner of the grounds, our charming Shepherd’s Hut is your cosy countryside hideaway. Perfect for peaceful escapes, wild swims, and starry-night campfires – all with a touch of rustic charm.
The Garden House is situated on the west side of the estate, this detached property stands on its own with a private lawn in front and a large south-facing terrace at the rear.
