Walcot Hall is privately owned by the Parish family, who have lived here for over half a century. As a family home, it offers guests a wealth of character and personality and a rare opportunity to share in the simple splendour of life on this country estate.
The Main Hall at Walcot Hall is open to the public for just two days a year at the same time as the NGS Open Gardens event, on the Whitsun May Bank Holiday weekend – more details can be found in the Events section.
Private house tours can also be pre-arranged by appointment, where visitors can meet the owner Lucinda Parish and tour a variety of the rooms within the Hall. Guests are then encouraged to walk around the gardens and grounds before finishing off their visit with tea, coffee and homemade cakes,
served in the impressive turquoise Ballroom. Prices for a historic tour start from £10.00 a head.
